I think 9/11 has effected me in some ways because I am kind of scared to get on planes now. But also becasue we never know what can happen next. Something could happen closer to us instead of in places like New York (farther away). Or something could happen to people we are close to and I think we should be grateful. I responded to Jabria's entry.

Mrs. Neal's comments This past summer, my husband and I got on a plane to go to Las Vegas. And, deep down inside, I believe I was a little fearful of boarding the plane. Information can do a lot, it can hinder you or motivate you. It's your choice, are you going to let it keep you behind or are you going to meet the challenge and face your fears in the face. I say, girl you can meet the challenge and knock those fears into next week!

9/11 and planes i had to go to michigan for a week this summer, and i had to catch four planes to get there. i had never flown before then, so i was really scared. When the thought of 9/11 kicked in my only thought was to get off the plane!! Even though nothing happened on any of the planes, i still felt weird. so i agree very strongly with kierra's statement. -Mahcaiyah W.G S. AMERICA

me too i got scared to death ..not coz that may i could face death..but from the procedures i'll face ... as a muslim girl wearing islamic scarf over my head ..and how people treat me (not only security but from passengers if i moved a single move or try to open my bag they call the hostess, and........................................................................................... some times the way they touch u and u can say nothing as they are looking for weapens in your .....!!!)

the same i think you are right because they siad on the new that plane travel have decline by 20% so you are not the only person scard to get on a plane
